Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond butter
  • ⅓ cup coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 4 tbsp monk fruit sugar
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • ½ cup ground flaxseed
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ½ tsp sea salt

Substitutions: Instead of monk fruit sugar, try maple syrup or molasses instead!

Instructions

  1. Add coconut oil, almond butter, vanilla, and monk fruit sugar to a small pot and warm over low heat until melted and well-incorporated. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
  2. Mix together flaxseed, salt, spices, and almond flour in a large bowl. Add the slightly cooled almond butter mixture and stir well.
  3. Use clean hands to roll into small 1-inch balls. Store in the fridge for 1 week.
