Quinoa Turkey Burgers
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1⁄2 cup cooked quinoa
- 2 tablespoons tamari
- 1⁄4 cup red onion (minced)
- 2 cloves garlic (crushed)
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper
Yield:
4 burgers
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients to a large bowl and mix well.
- Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes, or place in the freezer for 5 minutes, to help mixture stick together better.
- Form burger patties and grill for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and no longer pink.
- Garnish with your favorite condiments and vegetables. Serve.
